Every year EXAR organizes a three-day conference in Europe. The lectures of the first two days dedicate themselves around themes like experimental archaeology, reconstructing archaeology as well as theory and education. During the days beside lectures posters are presented. Adjacent to it remains time for discussions and exchange of experiences.
Early travellers meet already the evening of the conference to a first meeting. On the third day sightseeing trips and guided tours take place, most times for half a day.
